I'm sorry, this is probably not the best place to ask but could somebody translate this

"Wir weisen darauf hin, dass der Verkäufer unabhängig von einer Transportversicherung das Risiko des Untergangs oder der Beschädigung der Ware auf dem Transportweg trägt, sofern der Käufer Verbraucher im Sinne des § 13 B"

I don't understand the most important part .... is the seller or buyer responsable for the goods during transport if something would go wrong ?

For me it means the seller takes the risk if the buyer is an enduser (means private buyer).

The seller is basically responsible for any damages to the goods during transport, independent from any transport insurance (... unabhängig von einer Transportversicherung).
This last statement sounds a bit strange to me, but at least its saying that :ka:
