the 6694 i have is 'flat' on the bottom while the air king date is beveled. i'll try to post comparison pics when i get home...thanks.

mhm, very difficult, larry ... i always thought that the akd is a little bit bigger than the 6694 ... so it should be different ...

nope, both are the 35mm cases. i double checked. :D do you still have your air king date? look at the beveled bezel.
