Rolex in alten Katalogen der amerikanischen Streitkräfte, Aafes Catalogs

Ich habe einmal meine alten Aafes Kataloge durchstöbert. Angehörige von Army und Air Force könnten darin bis zu 2 Rolex Uhren pro Jahr bestellen oder auch in der PX, dem eigenen Gemischtwarenladen kaufen. In Gießen, im damals größten Depot der Amerikaner außerhalb der USA wurden die Uhren gelagert. Anfangs neben Staubsaugern und Videorecodern und später als der Schwund zu groß wurde in einem abgeschlossenen Käfig.

Ich fange mal mit dem neuesten Katalog an, von 1995.

1982 640 Dollar für den Cosmograph. Die PX arbeitete fast ohne Gewinn, Lieferung weltweit an APO Adressen kostenlos. Ich weiß noch wie die Uhren neben Schmuck und Parfümfläschchen im Regal lagen. Wiesbaden war ein großer Laden. Damals habe ich mich aber eher für Stereo interessiert.

Auf Seite #13 in Katalog 82 sind zwei Oysterbänder von hinten nebeneinander abgebildet,wo man die Schließen sehen kann.Ich meine verschiedene Abstände der Kronen zu erkennen.Könntest du das mal vergrößern?

Die Preise sind eine Sache, die Berechtigung dort einzukaufen eine andere. Aber auch mit der Berechtigung, durften Deutsche nur Güter des täglichen Bedarfs kaufen.

Sind unterschiedlich breit.Die Mittelteile der Be beim 78350er sind schmaler.Schließenbreite 16/15mm sein.
