Why sell new watches?

Sorry for a stupid question - but why do quite a lot forum-friends sell completely new and unused Rolex watches with all papers? Why buy it if you don't want it? ;)

I guess he asks because the seller is not earning bucks but loses them when selling it completely unused for a cheaper price than the retail price.

Bucks = Dollars = Money

some people do foolish things, buying watches and selling them soon afterwards and loosing money that way.
You might call them watch junkies.
