Hi,

Let me know what you think - do you think the Daytona is appropriate for use everyday? (16520 and 116520).

If not - why? What do you use? :-)

Regards,

Claus

Only for "Vitrina" or "Tresorius"!!

"She" can become scratches very fast!! ;)

Not for everyday use, just when i like to wear it. I decide every morning again. This morning was a Submariner-Day....but who knows what tomorrow morning will bring! :D

Claus, it's an oyster.
Why should it be inappropriate for everyday use?

Wear it and be happy, life is too short for cheap watches ;)

Have a nice weekend.

Is for instance the Sub or SD more scratch-resistant than the Daytona? Or what are the arguments in general? ;-)

Claus

The metal they are made from is identical (904L). However, the Daytona has three features that 'attract' more scratches. First, the fixed polished bezel. Second, the polished lugs. Third, the polished centre links on the bracelet.

The brushed finish on the SD will hide or mask minor scratches better than the polished surfaces of the Daytona.

That's it..........watches aren't made for safes.....I wear my 16520 nearly every day........I repair my cars with the Daytona - what's the problem ???? If the watch gets scratches, I send it to Rolex for polishing.......

This is really the best point of view, but I am also still learning, from Tobias for example

I wear my 116523 (Steel/Gold] every day =)

Sure, it already became slight grazes and some scratches

The scratches are in the area of the clasp from coming arkwardly on tables.

On my opinion an acceptable appearance of a watch makes it unique :gut:

There's no other watch in the world with exactly the same damages

It´s a Sporty, isn´t it?
It´s a Rolex, so wear it!
