Your Milgauss is extremley rare in Germany. When and where do you bought it ?

Wann? Vor ich kaufte 2,5 Monaten. Ich warte einen weitere tag auf anlieferung. Ich habe fotos in 24 stunden.

Ich antworte auf englisch.
I do not know how popular Rolex is in Germany. I rarely see other expensive watches in Australia. Australia does not have a culture of displaying personal wealth (like in Asia) so that may be the reason I have only seen two other Rolex watches being worn. (2 x GMT Master).
However, I think Patek Phillipe is popular among those people with more money than me: Armadale Watch Gallery (Melbourne, Australia) (http://www.watchgallery.com.au/patekphilcatnew.htm). I rarely see AP for sale.

Tolles Foto, Grenat!
Die Milgauss verfügte über einige Besonderheiten innerhalb des damaligen Rolex-Programms. Nicht nur, daß sie (neben der Oysterquartz) einer magnetischen Feldstärke von 1000 Oersted bzw. einer magnetischen Flußdichte von 1000 Gauss widersteht, sondern
der Gehäusedurchmesser ist mit ca. 37-38 mm geringfügig größer als bei Datejust und Explorer,
nur in der Milgauss wurde das Kaliber 1580 eingesetzt,
die Milgauss konnte laut den Katalogen in den 70ern sowohl mit, als auch ohne Leuchtmittel geliefert werden.
Eine außergewöhnliche Rolex, die das Schicksal des Ladenhüters mit der Explorer II 1655 und der Daytona 6263/6265 teilt. Ich vermute allerdings, daß die Milgauss im Vergeich zu 1655 und 6263/6265 in noch geringeren Stückzahlen gebaut wurde.
