Wer besitzt eine Ref.16660?

Wieviele Besitzer der Seadweller Ref. 16660 mit glänzendem Blatt und WG-Indexen im Vergleich zum gleichen Modell mit mattem Blatt gibt es hier im Forum?
Würde mich mal interessieren.

Keine 16660, aber mit dem glänzenden Blatt dafür ;)

The Mark I has different caseback engravings, different middlecase, different bezel "teeth" and different crown shoulders than the Mark II which shares the 16600 case as well.

Try to compare with a Mark II 16660 or 16600 caseback. You will see ie. the position of the Rolex-coronet on mine is very different. Also have a look at the straight line by the crown shoulders. That is not as distinct on other 16660s. the shoulders are also more pointy. To compare the other details you would need to have the different watches next too each other – live.

And I have asked for Mark I case backs on all Rolex forae. I am pretty thrilled about this one. But I am sure you – if anybody – will track another one down. Mine is first generation with a low 6 mill. serial. Found it on Japanese Yahoo forum, fully serviced with service sticker on the back. However, no box nor papers. But I can live with that.

Funny how the dot on mine has been replaced with a coronet on the later generation 16660. Also splitting the words "Rolex" and "Oyster" on mine, but putting them together on later version.
