While I was on my cruise last week, I saw more Rolex watches than I've ever seen in one gathering. One evening I spotted an older gentlemen wearing a solid platinum Day Date with the Ice Blue dial.... 8o What is the retail on that watch? 50? 60k?
The next day I run into him in a watch shop in Cozumel (natch) and what watch is his wife wearing? The Leopard Daytona!! I never imagined I'd see this (hideous) ultra rare watch "in the wild" and I was floored. I asked his wife if I could snap a couple of photos (hey, if you see bigfoot, you need photos for proof) and she consented....

Nice pic. Btw: the retail on a platinum DD with ice blue dial is around € 32k without any diamonds.

No...the watch store we were visiting in Cozumel carried SEVERAL different brands...ironically no Rolex. :wall:

Vor einigen Wochen habe ich auch eine Dame in D´dorf mit der Leo-D gesehen. Außerdem trägt Fr. Dr. Antje-Katrin Kühnemann auch eine.
Die Leo ist meiner Meinung nach eine reine Frauenuhr.
Finde übrigens auch, dass der Trägerin auf dem Foto die D gut steht.

An dem Handgelenk sieht die Leo-Daytona ausnahmsweise gut aus. ;)
Also, ich finde die Frau hat Klasse. Der Schmuck schmückt sie und wirkt nicht aufdringlich oder protzig.
