Plexis Tropic und Cyclop

kann mir jemand eine Zuordnung der Plexis Tropic und Cyclop mit Nummer und Referenz geben?
Sprich welches Glas an welcher Uhr.

WICHTIG: die SUPERDOMED Gläser der 50er, 60er und 70er haben die gleiche Bezeichnung wie die flacheren Gläser ab Anfang der 80er ...
ein domed 19 kann also sowohl das heutige flache, als auch das wunderbare superdomed sein ...

Die Liste kursiert schon geraume Zeit in allen Foren ... ist zwar nicht schlecht, aber unvollständig ... es fehlen Modelle bzw alle Cyclops-Gläser ...

Mit etwas Glück kann man sich einen alten Rolex-Ersatzteil-Katalog besorgen ...

Bei Interesse an einem spezifischen Modell einfach fragen ... zum Einscannen ist der Katalog jedoch zu umfangreich ;)

Oder gibt/gab es die entsprechenden Cyclope-Plexigläser auch ohne Lupe unter der Bezeichnung Tropic? Zumindest gibt es wohl eine Glasgröße, die es sowohl mit, als auch ohne Lupe gibt: die 111, als Tropic für die 6530 (Oyster Perpetual) und als Cyclope für die 1625 (Turn-O-Graph).

That's correct! You would also have a Tropic 39 if your watch was serviced these days ... generally Rolex did not change the reference-numbers of the crystal over time ... so the old (super-)domed crystals and the newer ones do have the same reference-number but are different in shape nonetheless ... you need a lot of experience to distinguish them when just having a plain crystal in your hand :cool:

I asume the superdome is the more valuable one and I should ask Rolex to keep this crystal and not replace it.
As far as I understand there are only two types of crystals for the 1665: The original one (superdome) and the one used as replacement and both are called Tropic 39. Have I understood this correct?

At least for the Tropic 19 (Ref. 5513/5512) there were three types: superdomed, domed and the flat ones used from the 1980s up to today ... could be the same for the Tropic 39 ... but I'm sure "Smile" knows for sure ;)

Wahnsinn, da ist eine Uhr in der Teileliste angeführt, die nie im Handel war: die Submariner 6538A, eine BC mit untypischer Lünette und ein vom Ministry of defence gemaltem Blatt.... =)
