http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31387&item=4905708133&rd=1
Hi Georg,
Hope you are well.
Could not find the thred. But nice website. Who does it belong to.
Here is my message for the forum.
As to the watch in question the james Bond 6536/6538 it is the
discrepancies that makes this watch so rare and special. If the watch
was put together outside the Rolex factory, then it would be the value
of the parts, but this watch was produced by Rolex as is, and that is
what makes it special.
Its one of those watches that one has to know about it to understand it.
A bit like the cream dial Explorer 16550 made only for a couple of
years, or the Black Out Explorer 14270 made only for 3 months, or dare i
say it the Military James Bond A6538 without any serial numbers.
Rolex is not an exact science. I hope I am not stealing a quote
Best Regards,
Kamal.
