Hi Rolexies,
I want to introduce myself in English due to very rusty highschool German.
I am already a Rolex admirer since I saw the first Gold Day-Date owned by my then employer. The first Rolex I bought for myself was an Oyster perpetual steel with milled bezel costing new at the time the huge sum of €290,- regrettably that watch which I had planned to give my son got stolen in 1989. I than bought a gold Day date with president braclet in 1976 but because it was to big for my wrist sold it again two years later. I than bought a gold and steel Perpetual which I traded in in 1995 on a gold midsize Datejust with president bracelet that dated from 1981 but looked like new. This summer I sold that watch to buy a midsize Yachtmaster Rolesium with which I am very satisfied having outgrown the wearing of gold.
