Die bei Ebay angebotene Uhr wurde ja schon im Forum diskutiert, so weit ich mich erinnere ... finde aber den Thread nicht mehr .. vielleicht kann's ja einer der Mods zusammenfügen ...

JD auf TZ:
"Hi All;
A couple of months ago my watchmaker told me about a watch that one of his clients wanted to sell, he told me it was a white dial Explorer 1.
I told him that there was no such thing & that it was most likely a redial. Then on my next visit he showed me the watch, it didn't look like a redial, even when I had him pull the dial.
But the truth is I didn't know what to make of it; I have spent the last couple of months researching it but to no avail. The guy was the original owner & he swore it had always had the same dial and it was in excellent condition.
Despite my qualms I decided to buy it last week, not quite sure whether I had made the right decision.
Welche Überraschung ...

Tja, und dann soll noch eine aufgetaucht sein ... JD setzt fort:
"Yesterday I got an email from an Italian collector, who asked me if I could help him with discovering the history of his watch.

Keine Erwähnung von Ebay ... keine Nennung der Referenz ... JD eben :rolleyes:
Und Marcello Pisani spielt auch gleich mit:
