The watch was even advertised 168000, not just 16800. I paid quite a bit for this watch. It´s worth every single penny in this condition. However without box and papers, but fully serviced.

However, at the time I bought it (seven weeks ago. Had some shipping issues), I did not have any confirmed info from Rolex HQ, so he only knew as "little" as I did, fact-wise, meaning he knew there was a smaller production of this watch. He did not know about the whole "new metal alloy" issue and the extremely limited production and short periode. Nobody knew this. It was sheer luck that I came to get this info directly from the horse's mouth! Rolex never really reveals any "vintage"-info at all.

Lately I have noticed some dealers realising what they have and doubling their prices on these rare birds now!
