I've always thought that the 1675 was, by a margin, the most versatile of all Rolex Sports Models

This is what I mean:

Bezels:

- Pepsi

- Pepsi with a bolder font

- Washed Pepsi

- All Black

NATO's:

- Black

Synthetics:

- Kevlar

- Rubber Tropic style

Custom made from the Atelier Jean Rousseau:

- Chocolate Croc

In my view, the best watch rolex had ever made.

The case of your 1675 looks like brand new 8o :gut:

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Hannes, actually I just realized that I forgot a couple of NATO's for my pictures (a grey and a sand color), so no, that's not all :D

But I'm too lazy to get the camera out again, so I'll pass.

Interesting that, on this forum as well as others, people tend to like the washed insert best. Guess it really enhances the vintage looks of the watch, and people find it more attractive.

What I need to find now is a washed black bezel that is turning to grey, to add even more variety.

Cheers

Could I have some more information about the Kevlar strap?
Never heard or seen it bevor.

For the kevlar strap, it is a "mini Panerai" strap, that you can find on Don Ginsler's site (go to the Regular Straps / Specialty Straps page), that you can find here (http://www.homestead.com/rlx/DON5.html). You need the 20mm ones for a Rolex sports model.

Percy, Hannes, I hope there is no issue in me posting this link. If this is an issue, please edit my message and I will forward the link through PN.

At the same time, it would be a bit of a shame not to share this contact with the rest of the community here, as Don's straps are excellent value for money. I did buy several from him at the time I had a Panerai, and bought some more recently for my Rolex' and IWC's.

Cheers

You're welcome.

Very nice JLC in your avatar - love the Grande Date. Are you happy with it? I am considering buing one. I've heard that it was sometimes too big and thick, and does not fit easily under a shirt cuff. Do you confirm?

Thanks

PS: looks like Don does not offer the kevlar on his website anymore. Might be worthwhile sending him an email.

I suppose it's the perfect summer combination as it will pull all the hairs off your arm, and that makes for a better tan? :D :D :D

More seriously, I see what you mean and I am considering buying a jubilee. It's considerably warmer and wetter here in Singapore than it is in Paris, so this could be a nice fit. Could even go well with my Tudor 7016...
