luminova dials labeled as tritium (swiss - T<25)

does anyone know what years rolex used the luminova replacement dials that were labeled as tritium w/ the "swiss - T<25" designation at the 6 o'clock marker? i know that as late as 2003, those dials were in use. thanks =)

hi hai, äääh sharky, in germany they used the luminova-dials since 1999, they were no longer allowed to use tritium - by law.

Hi shark,
depending on the model type, they were used from 1999 onwards to
approximately 2002. From there on, the word SWISS is used. Maybe,
some of the old-marked dials were in use longer but as I tried to get one
for my 1665 last year, they had the SWISS dials only.

i know when the new luminova started to be used, but at the end of the tritium run, rolex used luminova dials that were labeled as tritium w/ the swiss - T<25 (a sort of transitional dial).

i have one of these dials in one of my 1680s and german_navy sold his 1675 here recently that had one also (i met up w/ him here).

i wanted to possibly know when these "transitional" dials were no longer being used so that i can target a service date if i ever wanted to get a watch that had one of these dials. =)

My GMT was at Rolex in 2002 and got the T<25 Dial.
