Recently there was a series of posts on the vintage rolex forum regarding puffy lumes on early 5513's. The consensus was that puffy/exploded looking lumes on early 5513's was common and not necessarily indicative of reluming.
NEW QUESTION: :grb:
Would this phenomenon also be typical on 5512's from 1966/67? I saw one yesterday at a reputable dealer's store where this 5512 had very flat and uniform lumes, and the dial was being represented as original. Patina on the dial and hands was the same. (Sorry, no pic).
