At the moment everybody is claiming about bad investors, who kick collectors out of the hobby. At one time it was NOT different!
Example:
The highly discussed PN was at 90.000 DM (~45.000 Euro) in November 2000 (!). Not either the price range for most collectors during these days.
If you are considering inflation and the ammount of money you spend and the risk, there are much more better ways to invest and to gain more profit, even with the "super-vintage" watches.
But of course there are obvious exceptions ...
