Absolutely Volker - you need very controlled lighting to get these kinds of results. A fair amount of Photoshop post photo editing is also involved. :cool:

I wasn't a huge fan until I saw Hannes's photos....I'm warming to it, and would like to see it "in the flesh." For now, I can say I like the original better. :D
