Hi All,
I am looking for a source on Sapphire casebacks for Rolex. Apparently, inquiries to the website at http://www.thomaspreik.de/ go unanswered. Has anyone else had any recent success ordering Sapphire casebacks from this site or any other source?

But donīt ask me why :ka:
Itīs not the first time that I hear that =(

Do you guys know if these casebacks will fit a 14060M?

Yes, they will fit a Sub, but will lower the depth rating. The sapphire caseback is rated for 200M, a higher rating than the DateJust/GMT 16710 but lower than the Submariners depth rating.
The real question though is finding a source for these casebacks as the one at http://www.thomaspreik.de has appeared to have dried up.

You can use an online translation program. Although these programs are not perfect, the recipient of the message will understand your needs.

Maybe his firewall kills english spoken emails, because of spam and others...

I purchased it for a GMT II. Let me know if Preik responds. I think his spam filter is blocking messages as he seems that his email has fallen into the ether, although his brick-and-mortar store exists.
FWIW, I show how to install the caseback at http://www.minus4plus6.com/caseback.htm and on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/v/7mj2CYnmt5Q&rel=1

Sheldon,
I got too busy today to call Preik. I will try tomorrow. Kind of difficult to call him because of the 7 hours time difference. And they are really not responsive to email. Strange...
Hi Sheldon,
sometimes Preik sells his sapphire-casebacks via ebay. I purchased mine one year ago. Quality is quite good, fitting is well. My 14060M is pressure tested for >10 atm (=100m)
Hope this helps
Holger
Preiks shop is just 8 minutes away from my house, should you need anything, I will gladly try to help you out!
