the types of hands and hour markers? both are rolex "date" models and are COSC i believe. i've seen the 6534 w/ an alternating color on the date wheel, but have not found alot of reference on the two.....thanks :rolleyes:

But you are right. The 6534 had a red/black date wheel.

as i know, first were the models number 6xxx in Date and DJ, with a 1030 movement, and then Rolex intrduce the newer ones with 15xx/16xx ... with 1560 and then 1570 caliber ...
You´re right, Werner. The Cal. 10xx watches all have Ref. 6xxx
and the Cal. 15xx watches have Ref 15xx or 16xx
That may explain it :))
