Explorer 1016 tinting hands question

Hi am am new here and only able to ask in English from my phone
It was suggested I move my question to this section. I hope that's right

Anyway I have a 1967 explorer. One owner. I have all service records from rolex and original credit card receipt

Anyway the hands were replaced during a 1997 service an the are whiter than she dial

Second the 12 marker is a bit darker than the ready of the dial

I am ok with that but should I tint the hands to more closely match the dial?

Nice Explorer, but not so nice Hands

I would try to find some original matching hands. Not so easy to find but possible

Yes, you should try to get your hands on matching hands

There are some people around here who might have some spare parts, maybe they will join in.

Update:

Watch and hands back from Mr. Ridley today. I am happy with the results, but I of course have the 1997 service hands as well.

What do do you think?
