Already knew this vid, but had to watch it again!
You can feel how much he loved and still loves his 1680.

Andrew St. Pierre White
I don't know where to put this Storylink properly.
It may be entertaining to some of us.
Andrew St.Pierre White is well know when talking about 4x4 Off Road topics.
But in this clip he tells us about his Submariner 1680 and the history behind it.
I enjoyed to see the clip when he was telling very vivid and authentically how he got his
one and only Submariner decades ago...

Thank you, great vid!!! Funny, that the chap used the 1680 for adventures and Sport-activities of all kinds, but the biggest damage the watch suffered was that it did not keep time as before after its First Service after 20 years...

My Watchmaker (with over40 years of experience als rolex certified) used to say:
there are more watches damaged in the workshop than in the field
